18K ROSE GOLD PLATED BOOKMARK
Tecford Design is honored to have the opportunity of producing a memento to celebrate the Association of Chinese Canadian Entrepreneurs Award’s 20thanniversary. Each one of the 1,000+ guests received a keepsake at the awards gala event. In collaboration with Palettera, specialist in custom correspondences, we developed a limited edition 18K rose gold-plated bookmark with unique numbered sequencing.
The concept of the piece was directed by Palettera’s team of designers, while we provided technical and design guidance on the functionality and material selection to maximize the precision capability of the photochemical etching technique.
The piece is composed of a detailed hand-drawn design that seamlessly flows from the precision-etched metal bookmark onto hand-pressed paper, creating a cohesive juxtaposition between modern sophistication and traditional elegance.
From sketch to etch, we went through multiple iterations of designs and prototypes to ensure that the final product was representative of both Palettera’s design philosophy and deserving of celebrating ACCE’s aspiration to promote and recognize the achievements and dedication of Chinese Canadian Entrepreneurs.
